I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get to your blog, Lady Jai, but it’s been crazy with A to Z. But I LOVE your theme. Now I kind of want to draw an inspiring message on my mirror to remind me each day of the important things.

When a person is passionate, it can often be misinterpreted as being highly emotional or dramatic or OTT, especially by those who don’t understand what it means to feel strongly about something…
And like Kristin mentioned above, the same applies to my husband who is also a very passionate person. It’s often mistaken for anger…

Hi Lady Jai! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m following you now!
Passion is such a great thing. My husband is a very passionate person, and when he feels strongly about something, he raises his voice, which sometimes people mistake for anger.
It’s a funny thing about passion. So often it is viewed as hysteria, overly emotional or anger. I dn’t know how many times I have said about an issue, an idea, a person – “I’m not angry – I’m just passionate about this.” One dictionary defines passion as
1: a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something
2: a strong feeling (such as anger) that causes you to act in a dangerous way
3: a strong sexual or romantic feeling for someone
I am operating in Defonition 1 but I think, many times, other think I am exhibiting No 2. I have learned to tone down my outward expressions of passion and cultivate them internally instead (or in writing). BTW: No 3 is long ago and farway.:)

Passion is all that there is in this world, imho– for things spiritual and physical, both.

Passionate people are the best! If you’re not passionate about something, why do it?
