I am a good MomMom
On those days when I think that I’ve totally failed as a MomMom, (you know we all do no matter how good we are), in the long run, I look back and realize just how good I truly was. I love my son with all my heart!

I would be honored if you shared it forward!

You are a very good mom! If you ever doubt it. Call me. I will remind you of this. Even Cael could sense that when he met you 😉

I don’t think my first attempt at commenting went through. How we feel about our parenting skills in an important part of our self esteem.
Hope you are enjoying A to Z.

I sure had plenty of those days when my boys were young. Just so you know, they not only survived but grew up to be fine, loving men with a great work ethic and a gentle love of animals. 😀

He there,
Yes, it’s me. I’ve no doubt your son will embrace your love and be a terrific adult. I like to think of myself as a good mother and father to my son. Ah the life of a single parent

I’m always tempted to say I could have been better at X, Y or Z, but I did what i did, and I can’t go back and change any of that. What I can do is to make the best decisions, take the best actions that I’m capable of today. I love that you’re doing that here.

With all the books out there to “prepare” or “guide” us in parenting, every child is their own individual being and no amount of instructions can set us on the perfect path to raising them. So it is good to take moments, as you are doing now, to recognize you’re doing darn-tootin’ well with your handsome one 🙂
Go MomMom!

I know how you feel.
I am not a negative person but 2 of my three children have cut me from their lives. The one who do speak lives abroad so many a day I wonder where have I gone wrong, I know not the reasons for their silence and I do miss them and the grandchildren.
Loved your post.

I am so delighted to be a witness to your daily affirmations. I am so glad you are declaring yourself – a good Mom. I have observed your interactions with your son via Facebook and I think you are an extraordinary Mom – also an amazing wife and caregiver. Being a Mom does not come with instructions. We do the best we can with what we have. I always picture my daughter spending thousands of dollars in pyschotherapy fees She is 53 and has never been on the shrink’s couch (as far as I know). You are doing well – even on the worst of days.

Hi Lady Jai,
Yesterday I did a post on emotions and wellbeing and how we women don’t discuss our emotions. You see, it is ok to face it when down, sideways and up why not. So yup there you go and praise yourself well for loving your son so and doing your best.

We do far too much ridiculing, of ourselves and others. We should take the time to find the positives withing ourselves and others and maybe we could be so much happier!

Being a mum is the hardest job, but also the most satisfying.
