Goals For The Month of May – #WriteMotivation

Last week I did not post my goals for the month of May. Instead I tried to show you my enthusiasm for this endeavor and try to illicit a response to a dilemma I had with science. Unfortunately, no one more science-y than me has found an answer and posted it. I still am calling for any and all help! 🙂

Today, I thought I would post my goals, and add to them. I always seem to add to them after I’ve signed up on KT’s form.

  1. Complete the necessary blog posts for #WriteMotivation, maybe throw in a few “others” as well. I also want to try to post more comments on fellow #writemotivation blogs. I sometimes forget to do that.
  2. I still struggle with giving myself a word count goal, so let’s just leave it at “make forward momentum!” Progress is always good! I am always trying to remember my Rule for the First Draft is A single word is progress. Zero words is stagnation. And deleting words is regression. We always want progression and one word is AWESOME! 🙂
  3. Provide unending support, cheering, and cookie flinging, to anyone who needs it.
  4. Complete B’s critique on her novel well before the end of the month. I will do my best. But lately, I haven’t had a chance to read at all. I’ve been so wrapped up in writing my novel that reading has fallen by the wayside. I hope she can be patient with me. 🙂

So, this is the plan for this month. I’ve keep up with #1, #2, and #3 so far. I am making a little progress on #4…slowly. So far so good. It is one week into the month and everyone seems to be doing so well! ZOMBIE COOKIES FOR ALL!!!

People care, life will get better. Hang on. When something hard occurs, and you want to give up, don’t. It usually turns out to move you in a new direction, a better one.
I love the “I need a word” idea. I do that too. 😆

Good luck with your forward momentum for May. That’s a worthy goal all by itself.

Oops…meant to say, “start DOWN that road.” 🙂

I think “make forward momentum” is a worthy goal. Usually when you start don’t that road, the words just keep coming.
